Location: Mankato, MN
The Credit Analyst I is responsible for conducting credit investigations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data and financial information to evaluate and mitigate credit risk, as well as determining the appropriate credit risk rating on new and existing borrowers. This position collaborates and works closely with credit production and credit support to maximize borrower cash flow for UPB debt retirement and manages credit facilities extended to UPB borrowers. The role is a significant contributor for overall UPB risk management through credit facility monitoring.
Strong attention to detail, must embrace change, effective at prioritization, multi-tasking, effective oral and written communications skills. Ability to exercise professional judgment and demonstrate independent decision-making skills based on the Bank’s philosophy of profitability, quality, and then growth. Capacity to create and present sophisticated reports and findings to upper level management. A strong aptitude to build relationships and rapport within UPB. High degree of confidentiality and professionalism. Accepting of strong mentoring and feedback.
