Location: Mankato, MN
The Credit Manager is responsible for the management of the credit underwriting analytical process as well as completing all analytical functions for assigned branches. As a key contributor within the overall credit function, the Credit Manager will assist Credit Administration with technological and system changes, collaborate with others to research and review proposed changes and rollouts. Must ensure an accurate analytical processing system while overseeing the ongoing management of credit analysis, credit analysts, and workflow systems. Must provide ongoing analysis and credit underwriting training to subordinates.
Strong attention to detail, must embrace change, effective at prioritization, multi-tasking, effective oral and written communications skills. Ability to exercise professional judgment and demonstrate independent decision-making skills based on the Bank’s philosophy of profitability, quality, and then growth. Capacity to create and present sophisticated reports systems and findings to upper level management. A strong aptitude to build relationships and rapport within UPB. High degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
